Dear all,

By mistake, I've added a word in the spell-check dictionary of Kmail
without correcting it. How can I edit the entries of the dictionary?

Thanks for the help!

I can't find much info about this but seems kmail uses libKF5SonnetCore5 to access external dictionaries so I guess it will depend what spelling packages you have installed and whether they have programs that allow you to change the dictionary items.

From the description of libKF5SonnetUi5 - KDE spell checking library -
Sonnet is a plugin-based spell checking library for Qt-based applications. It supports several different plugins, including HSpell, Enchant, ASpell and HUNSPELL.

i have no idea how you configure it.

This is my issue too -- I just cannot locate anything about it...
If you are on opensuse, you can search for "spell" using the "Software Management" page in Yast and then click on the installed "spell" packages and there is a tab below the list called "File List" and that shows full directory with file name - you might find the dictionaries that way
Then i guess you'll have to see what tools are available for that "spell" system

Check for .aspell.en.pws in your home folder. Note that you might have to
enable displaying of hidden files. You can edit this file with a text editor.
For other languages replace the "en" with the corresponding language code.

Ingo
