kmail crashes with mailbox search

Dear all,

I am talking about the search box above the message list. The one with the unlocked padlock icon. When typed any keyword there, kmail consistently crashes. I use Kontact 5.8.2 on Manjaro linux. Can anybody please try to reproduce this?

KMail 5.8.1 (on openSUSE Tumbleweed) doesn't crash when I type something in
the search box.

Thanks for checking this Ingo. I wonder if this is a distro-specific problem or related to a corrupted Kontact/Kmail installation of mine.
